I took the following on my last trip for my 5D II.
16-35mm f2.8
50mm 1.2
100mm 2.8L macro IS
Make sure to take a tripod. You can get some stunning night shots as well.
I didn't get to use the 100mm too much...

I think an ultrawide would be a great idea for yosemite especially seeing as though the 17-55mm would be a redundant lens to carry. Flickr

I think there is often a tendency to shoot too wide, to try to capture the expansive view, and end up with boring images. I would say 16-100MM on a crop (so a lens such as the 15-85) would be ideal on lens solution. My Flickr
