Mom's pose isn't the best for her figure in the family shot, but they put this little guy through about a dozen outfit changes and by that point I was just standing them up and shooting them before we lost him altogether.








Not sure if your client would be pleased with the image you posted of her. A few dynamics in play here. Wide angle lens & angle of the shot will make a "healthy" individual "healthier". Tele lenses are the way to go with "healthier" people and for more flattering images in general.
