Mom's pose isn't the best for her figure in the family shot, but they put this little guy through about a dozen outfit changes and by that point I was just standing them up and shooting them before we lost him altogether.

That's exactly what it was. Grandpa Joe bought this, and Aunt Suzy bought that, etc. etc.

They were wonderful people and my wife and I had a great time with them, but they chose the "quantity over quality" route, which is okay. I always try to do the best I can with what I have.

Thanks for commenting.

Mom is to squared off imo, no a good thing for + people if child is to heavy have dad hold them, to me everyone always has the mother holding the child, there's nothing wrong with dad taking that role.

Great lighting, colors and exposure on all of these and some really fun shots. Last one is a crack up, but the WA distortion is a bit much on the legs.

#3 is full natural light.

The rest were lit by a 580EXII through a 60" westcott shoot-through umbrella and PW Flex triggers.

Love #1! Feel bad for the lil fellow in #3 with Sunlight in eyes. :( Not sure if your client would be pleased with the image you posted of her. A few dynamics in play here. Wide angle lens & angle of the shot will make a "healthy" individual "healthier". Tele lenses are the way to go with "healthier" people and for more flattering images in general. :)
