A bad day for a Turtle

I came upon this Great Egret that had captured a Softshell Turtle at the Viera Wetlands.

Turtles are incredibly hard to kill; I'd hate to think of what one could do to the insides of an egret. Quite the series, though.

Great series. I especially like the 5th one. The turtle looks like he's looking right at you asking for a little assistance!

Is it quite busy now at Viera? I wasn't sure when the migration starts and when it peaks. I'd like to make another trip down there soon.
