Some intermediate clouds make a huge plus on night shoots.
Very nice.

I can't figure out how you got this image. From foreground to background is in focus. Except the stars as you go up.

I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

Hes' very good but I believe it to be a composite image unless he used a Tilt-Shift lens or he has a special technique in editing that makes it do that . But there is a division of sharpness to out of focus about mid-high just above the cliff rock where you can see the change from sharp to out of focus . Kinda neat tho .

I already asked about the tilt&shift. He did not use on.

I think it is multiple images layered as well. On closer inspection I can see a line where 2 images meet.

It is very neat. I love his work. He's too good. :)

There is a technique I used years ago where i framed Orion constellation and tripped the shutter and every 5 secs I slightly defocused . It produced a crazy but neat image similar to Bokeh but not as neat as NChants here .

Yes that is a layered file of different focus :) here's a screenshot of the different layers. Blending them can be incredibly tricky, as even the slightest movement on the focus barrel makes a big difference in the stars focus. All shot at ƒ1.4 to get the roundest bokeh.
