Bought a new monitor specifically for editing pictures, the BenQ sw2700pt, it's amazing and like seeing my pictures in a whole new way. It's hard to look at my pictures on my old monitor now, lol, makes some of my previous editing decisions make me laugh. I decided to go back to a few of my previous shots and re-edit them with the new monitor, figured I'd share them with you guys here:

Awesome shots!
Don't go back and to your previous photos or you'll find yourself re-editing them all.
...to no use, since we remain with our old and uncalibrated monitors :p:lol::lol::lol:

Thanks Charles. My low position on the beach and the boat and life guard stand helped to minimize it. It was a nice clear night though. :)

You are very welcome Paul!

Curiosity question... how much of the Milky Way are you able to see with your eyes before snapping the shutter button?

Thats the interesting thing. Ive been in that spot probably 200 times and I could never see too much of it if any, largely due to the light in the area. The night I got these shots I could easily see the "cloud" in the sky.

I know you dont asked me but i found this very interesting:

When i shot a milky way pic way back (my first and only attempt so far) i used an app to locate the milky way as i could not see it with my eyes. Then i shot a few frames and started to see it on my camera and after it got darker and darker and i exactly knew where to look i could barely see it with my eyes. Ive never seen it in with my eyes before thought!

Thank you for answering, even though I sadly never asked you!

What app do you have for finding the Milky Way?
