I very lucky to be in a situation which alows me to fly into some really dark places here in this State. I am German and have been living in New Mexico for almost 19 years now. Next year we will move back to GErmany and I want to use that time to take more photos from those stunning landscapes down here in the South. Please feel free to give your opinion to the pictures. Pictures were taken with my Canon 6D at 6400 ISO and about 20 to 25 sec exposure. I used a Rokina 14mm f/2.8 lens. The forground was lighted with a small LED panel (orange filter) about 70 foot away. I am rather satisfied with the results but I bet you have some point which could be made better. Does for example somebody know where this orange glow behind the mountains is comeing from. There was definitely now City in that area. Very nice capture though the light at the rock is for me a bit strange! It looks a bit like there is a whole in that big rock behind. I would maybe have used the light on the brushes in the foreground.

The brush are a rather uninteresting compliment to the scene, so that's why i lighted the rock's "orbitals" and not the surrounding brush. http://RyanLunaPhotography.com
