Here is one from the other night. I need to work on getting my foreground cleaner. Any and all CC is welcomed. When shooting I did not realize that I was picking up the air glow on the water. Once I uploaded the pics it was a nice surprise.

Nice shot!

I think with the interesting foreground like this, you can try to do little bit of light painting, using one of the rocks as a focal point.
You can also try doing bit of masking using couple different shots.

Thank you,
I am looking for a good tutorial on layers and blending shots if you have any you recommend.
Thanks again

I'm not sure if you looked at any of these before, but I've found these to be pretty helpful.

That is really a great shot. Absolutely beautiful, especially with the pier going out to meet it.

I managed to catch what is apparantly a very rare thing to see. A red Sprite in my panoramic shot from this weekend.

I was with him :)

Larryn is a mate of mine and was running an astro workshop. I dropped in to see him and another guy he was doing it with. When the people turned up for the workshop I moved away from them (they were all paying for the tuition) and was trying to see if I could shoot a stacked pano.

I was shooting 3 shots for each part of the pano and did 2 rows of 7 shots. I then tried to stack in Sequator each section of 3 shots and combine them into a pano in post. It didn't come out quite as I wanted as there was a bit of cloud movement in some of the shots, but will try again.

This pano I posted was made up of the first shot of each 3 and luckily I caught the sprite on the last shot in the first row.

Gaab that is outstanding, and your timing perfect.

We all want a great foreground object with the MW right! How pitiful is this sign and road :(
Only thing of note is this was shot with a zoom lens at F4.
