This one is really a gorgeous shot Paul!! Aside from the milkyway being beautiful; the foreground is nicely lit, and even the shadow detail is great.

Back at ya man! Outstanding capture with the boat. You'd not learn much from me except don't
forget gloves even in summer.

Thanks Mike. I just starting to play with light painting night images . Its a lot of fun but it is time consuming when it comes time for processing.

You are being overly modest Doc. I can never seem to get the sky the way I want it. I love what you did with your MW!

The Milky Way is invisible in NYC, but 60 miles away I was able to give it a shot with the iOptron StarTracker. Suggestions welcome and encouraged. 1DsIII - F2.8 - 500 seconds.

Beautiful shot Gary. I guess you could call it a "Milky Waybow." :-)

Probably the best I can do here in cloud land. I'll keep trying though. Between working graveyard every other week, full moons, and our eternal cloudy sky I considered the night this was shot a God send.

Very nice, MedicineMan4040!

Thank you. Means a lot. It's a genre I never get what I'd like to. Kinda like Don Quixote I keep fighting the windmill and never winning :)
