Thanks mate yep the sky was tracked! That particular location would've been better at low tide so can get closer to the dolphin rock but that might be last chance of the season to shoot MW rising so decided to go for it anyway. https://www.tonyliuphotography.com.au/

I'm so jealous of your dark skies, topography and abandoned ruins! If you haven't heard of Richard Tatti, you should look him up on YouTube. He is from your neck of the woods and is a nightscape photographer. Very informative and inspirational. I'll look him up, this one is in New Zealand :P We both get some amazing dark skies though. Trust me when I say I am probably more jealous of all the amazing landscapes you guys have over there than you are of our dark skies lol! https://www.tonyliuphotography.com.au/

Jun 09, 2019 16:16 | #4378 Haven't had much luck with the Milky Way yet. This was from a week ago at Bodie Lighthouse (Nags Head, NC). The seeing wasn't the greatest as the sky ended up too hazy, but I am looking forward to trying again. Image hosted by forum (981880) © Pax2You [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW.
