I'm trying to use my e640 and have it for consistently lighting the ambient. So, I'd be happy with it firing at 1/64 power. I have the MiniTT1 on top of my canon 7d. I then have the 580exii on top of that that I'm using to light the subject.
Problem is, I can't find anything that lets me use my ControlTL setup purely to just trigger the e640. It's all intertwined, even in Manual mode, my FEC for my speedlite will adjust my einstein.

Any help is appreciated, as Pocketwizard's documentation is lousy.

Could you clarify what your question is? You say you "can't find anything that lets me use my ControlTL setup purely to just trigger the e640." What does that mean?

Got Einstein but lighting with on camer flash? Oh well what ever makes you happy. Anyways how is Einstein being triggered? It depends on that end, use the dumb trigger mode (like if using Plus II, or FlexTT5 in standard channel. I am not sure MC2 works).
