How do you even carry something like that? Or put it on a tripod?

It reads like it needs 40 AA batteries to run it. Must have come with stock in Energizer

You can see a number of different views at this site. I still have an old F-1 but certainly not with the high speed drive. It was (and probably still is) a great camera. There certainly is alot of real estate on the top of that camera that isn't used. Pretty basic settings available.
