Hey Jake..don't worry about it, I work harder than most here just to be able to gather the funds I need due to how low our income here is... so you'll get there :D just stay focused hehe

Don't let other people put you down... just be realistic and you'll be fine :D

... and maybe not recommend that he spend over $20,000 of his parents money in a given calendar year when he has no job?

well yes that's why I said be realistic  but then again everything is relative

he needs to be realistic on what he wants and how he can afford them but maybe for him $20k in parents money is realistic...after all he has a Porsche Cayenne as a first vehicle

I am very grateful for what I have now and thank my parents everyday for everything they do for me. I don't think Some of you guys understand what kind of a kid I am.

I don't have that kind of luxury when I was young, and I still don't have that much money now but I am glad for Jake that he has access to that much money... hehe

he already said he is thankful for what he have... he knows it, he appreciates it. :D

Hmmm...my son has more than that in his own account. I may not have wealth like his parents but, I'm working toward it. ;) I always believed in being self made. No one just gives it to you. :)

Jake probably has more than that on him as well..and that $20k is just a birthday gift or something...you never know.

who do you think you're talking to? I understand that way before I even graduated grade school... I was still in grade 1 or even earlier when I started helping in my parents store, I am the cashier haha I have to be up at 6am to go with them to the store on weekends and go home at 7-8pm too.

I'm happy for your father. He worked hard to get where he is today. I want to teach the same thing to my kids that nothing is given to you. My son knows the value of things and doesn't ask for this and that. He understands this and is only 11. :)

haha yeah me being the youngest, I was not even given new toys except for a few, all my bros (4 of them) toys were passed on to me... the problem is most of them are well in bad shape  I had to make do with whatever they left me to play with:lol:

as far as I can remember I only ask for one thing every single day when I was young... a slice of Mocha cake at around 3-4pm hahahaha and well toys like cardboard masks or something
