Many times I like the small size of the 5D without the grip specially when I travel or attach the camera to the telescope, so if I get the 1Dx, I will keep the 5D2 for travel and astrophotography, but if 5D3 has 30 megapixel, then it will be the 5D3. The 7D goes to son or granddaughter.

I see. I think the 5D III will be geared toward MPs. :)

Bummer. Does that mean she has to go back or all of you have to cut your vacation short? :(

What's the word on a 5diii announcement?

No new rumors or news...but with the delay of Nikon 800 because of flooding in Thailand that also affected Canon, i will suspect this to be end of 2012. As a hobbyist I have no hurry.

I was thinking of pre ordering the 1Dx to be with those who try to buy the latest bleeding edge gizmos, but the better of me says to wait.

Cheers,
Tony

Patience IS a virtue. ;)

I overdo it sometimes and call it "procrastination", though.

Yup. Who'd have thunk it after being almost eliminated TWICE in game six.

No. We had to come back to the hotel in the afternoon but, her boss will be reimbursing the trip personally!

Yup, it was Freese again who batted the critical RBI and the error of the Ranger pitcher resulting into 2 walks 2 HR, the cards got two HR's without hiiting a ball.
