I thought I'd share this with you guys ...

So, a couple days ago my Mom told me that she had a box from the garage for me to come pick up...

I open it up and ...

It turns out the box was filled with my old He-Man figures from 1983. I was 7 years old when I first played with these. There's 48 characters and 2 vehicles total.

Oh cool .. the weapons too.

Glad to see most of the weapons are still intact. woot.

Thanks Mom!

I could probably get 300 bucks on eBay for these ...

... But, seeing this look on my sons face is worth much more than that.

So we set them all up ...

And tore them all down!

He's definitely doing it right.

You're welcome, buddy.

Thanks, Jenn.

There's just something amazing about sharing the toys you grew up with with your kids. So much fun showing them how they work, who the bad guys are, etc etc. I love it.

That's awesome. You can tell he's going to enjoy them at least as much as you did. I remember having a few of those when I was a kid, too.

It's from 1980 or so when the 2nd Star Wars movie came out! You'd NEVER know it was, as umm... old as it is ..... ;) GREAT condition and my son LOVES IT!! (he IS his father's child after all, a Star Wars geek, through and through)
