harddrive situation

im a member of several forums but this seems like the best place to ask. i need help from someone experienced with pc's.

i have a custom built pc with 3x1tb drives running windows7, i just got a 1tb drive for cheap, and i will be installing it into my computer, the thing is that the drive has linux installed on it and i dont plan to run linux. what i plan to do is format the drive. but what will actually happen when i install the drive and turn my computer on? maybe im just worried for no reason.

Nothing will happen, so long as you tell the computer to boot from your windows 7 disk, which it should do by default. Once windows has booted go into disk manager, delete the partition, create a new partition, create a logical disk inside it, and format it NTFS.
