Hi all,

I've been going through some old pictures and every so often I come across one I like. This guy was thethered at the local forestry centre, I think it's a peregrine, but I may be mistaken.

C&C is always welcome, as I want to get better - so please, and I'm being honest here, be brutal.

A few quick honest points :)

1- think about the angle. Especially in instances where the bird isn't going anywhere. Get down lower, create an angle where it might not be so evident that the bird is strapped down (I might have moved over to the left side where it looks like the strap might have been hidden more). Maybe an angle that creates more background blur and bokeh.

2- the highlights on it's chest, beak and talons look a blown out, or over exposed. Could probably alter that in PP to get more detail to come through.

I would guess it is a hybrid, Peregrine/Lanner.

Thanks, Tom the Peregrineflier ;) Lyle Washington
