Does anyone know if a 50D, in the RAW + JPG setting, with a CF and SD card both installed, can save the RAW file to one card and the JPG file to a separate card, for the purpose of making a simoultaneous backup in case one of the two cards would fail? If so, would you have the menu choices to set this?? THANKS!!

The 50D only uses compact flash. So the answer to your question is no.

Really??? You can't just open up your memory card slot and see that only one card will go in there???

Heh! I would imagine the OP doesn't have a 50D, or wouldn't be asking that question -- probably fact-finding to see if they want one:)!
