How well do the battery/batteries hold up on long exposures? I have a Battery grip on my 20D...do you think that I could take a few 30 minute exposures with these on one night?

You should be able to. I also have the battery grip. I took both of the last two pictures (70 minutes total) with one set of batteries, and still used the same batteries for about 80 or 90 pictures the next day. In fact, they're still in the camera now. I haven't recharged them yet.

I took the first two shots with a failing pair of batteries I have. I was saving my good ones for the longer exposures.
