Reputable eBay sellers for memory cards?

I'm wanting to get myself some Sandisk Extreme cards from eBay. Reason I'm not getting them from B&H or Adorama etc, is because I live in New Zealand and the shipping costs even more than the cards :( and I don't want to get the cards from New Zealand because they are really expensive here- NZ$99 (thats around $80 US) for a 8GB Sandisk Extreme!

So which sellers would you recommend for memory cards?

Thanks in advance :D

I have bought a few off eBay that were supposed to be brand new but when I got them they were stamped "Refurbished" on the back. I am using them today but I am still a little scared to use them because I'm assuming they have failed in the past that's why they were "refurbished". I highly doubt they were refurbished by San Disc either. I don't think they stamp theirs like that. Look for "Brand New". I usually select US Only as well. I hate buying stuff from China or Japan and have to wait 3 - 4 weeks for it to arrive...

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

Sandisk off if eBay is really hit and miss. You're better of getting Transcend or one of the brands that the scammers have yet to hear about.

I'm guessing you don't know anyone in the US to get the stuff posted to, but if you know anyone here in Oz cheapchips (external link) look pretty good but they don't post anywhere but here. If you knew someone here it could be worth a shot.

If any of the bargain places like Adorama offered a "normal" postal service worldwide they'd really clean up as a lot of their prices are half what we get stung. (EG Sandisk 8GB Extreme 2 for $33 or thereabouts - down under they are around $60 EACH!)

The way I look at it is if they are truly legit and reputable they are probably selling them for about the same price you can get them on Amazon, Adorama and B&H for. Be safe, spend a few more bucks and ensure you get legit product. Find a local reseller if you have to, or a company here that will ship cheaper to you, say via USPS First Class International mail.

If ordering from eBay, avoid Asian sellers. They are 99% usually fakes.
