CPS Upgrade ??

Anyone know if you upgrade from a Silver membership to the Gold will you still get the strap and the workbook?? Thinking of doing so since you no longer get the repair discount with the silver.

Search the for sale forum. CPS members (now gold or above) receive a camera strap with the CPS logo on it. They're nice straps, but most people don't need them, so they dump them here and make a pretty penny.

I wished that Canon would get rid of the merchandise and add that savings to the price of the membership in the program. I can't imagine having to worry about what marketing stuff I am going to get.


My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I'm curious how much that would actually shave off the membership price? Strap that costs probably less than $5 to make and a book that costs $5 to print?
