Love the idea, a little too much contrast. But I shouldn't C&C too much, I can't get my 3 boys to sit still long enough to actually take a picture.

These are for ads in their schools basketball program, and some reason if you don't really blow out the contrast, they seem to always print them to light and all the details go away.

I think the contrast works here. The only thing I would do is widen your aperture in each shot. Each of these shots has a boy that just doesn't fit into the DOF. Also, the crop is a little tight on the first one. I would have liked to see the left boy's entire arm included in the photo.
