That has been kicking around the net for awhile now and IMO 3D is just starting to come into its own and how it will and can integrate with Adobe products. I think that Adobe will make 3D integration much more of an issue in future releases of the extended version of photoshop. Even the current version of CS5 can insert 3D objects with very realistic lighting effects. The problem is that currently you need a powerful system to do anything in a timely basis.


My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Hehe, i've seen this before. As a 3d artist by trade this is my type of stuff. But this is still at researchlevel and not even close to being a application yet. Although with the researchpapers out it should not be far away from becoming integrated into some of the mainstream 3d applications.

It would definately make the art of compositing 3d models into 2d backplates (photographs) much easier than it is today. It's a bit of a mess workflow wise to do at the moment.
