I think that Adobe will make 3D integration much more of an issue in future releases of the extended version of photoshop. Even the current version of CS5 can insert 3D objects with very realistic lighting effects. The problem is that currently you need a powerful system to do anything in a timely basis. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

But this is still at researchlevel and not even close to being a application yet.
