Anyone use Op/tech Bino/Cam Harness?

Hi all,

Am considering getting the Op/tech bino cam harness http://www.optechusa.c​om …DUCT_ID=4&PRODU​CT_SUB_ID= (external link) , as I can't carry my 350 XT around my neck due to surgery. Heaviest lens I own is a 75-300 USM IS, so weight shouldn't be an issue. Anyone using this? How effective? How comfortable? Do you use the web or elastic version and why?

looks pretty comfy. i would go with elastic for flexability.

You are correct. I already have the POTN strap and it is the best. Unfortunately, I recently had a couple of vertebrae in my neck fused & my neurosurgeon says I can no longer carry the camera on my neck and can't carry anything on just one shoulder either. That's why the Bino/Cam harness looks good.

Anyone with experience with it?

I was at B & H today and picked up the elastic version. It seems pretty easy to use and comfortable. Actually seems better than a regular neck strap for my XT.
