Hi,

I was just thinking would it be possible to trade my mint T2I ''Griped'' and my 70-200 2.8 L non is and 100mm 2.8L with a 5DII or would I be asking for too much.

Both lenses have only been used a couple of times for personal purposes.

Or sale them separately as I find it hard to trade the whole package sometimes.

Though to answer your question I think it is a fair trade...the problem is the people who have a 5Dmkii probably have the type of glass you are bundling...perhaps even the later versions.

You might have more luck selling separate.

I think you could sell all that on ebay and have enough money for a 5D Mk2.

Why not try putting them up here in the sell forum? Mention what you are up to, you never know if someone maybe looking to move away from a 5d2.

At the very least, you'd be saving the % that feeBay would be keeping and hopefully only paying the ~3% Paypal fee.. more $ to put towards that 5Dii

I don't know. A T2i + grip is maybe worth about $550-600 (little bit more if OEM grip). The 70-200 NIS is maybe worth $850-1000. So you're looking at somewhere between $1400-1600. That won't be enough cash to buy both. You'll have almost enough for a 5D2 depending on the condition. I don't think I've ever seen one listed for less than $1700. You'll have enough for the 100 2.8L.

EDIT: OOPS! Must be too tired. The 100 2.8L Macro should get somewhere around $850-900. So you'll definitely have enough for the 5d2. I say just sell everything separately and purchase from Canada for just under $2000.

FS: Nothing for now.

Worth the deal just about, but I doubt anyone would go for it from a 5D2 to a T2I ... just sell em and get the cash :)

I would list them for sale individually and then purchase the 5D separately.

The chances of finding someone who had a 5D-II for sale, and who wanted those exact 3 items you have are probably very close to nil. Even finding a buyer who was looking for those exact same 3 items is pretty small.
