Question about memory cards...

I just bought an HD camcorder. It takes either sd,sdhc, sdxc or memory stick pro. I only use CF in my dslr so I am not familiar with all the new cards out. Basically my husband wants to shoot my kids sports games, and use it in the woods when he is hunting. I want to go with a card that supports HD but can't go with the top of the line at the moment. What card/brand do you suggest? Thanks.

SanDisk SDHC at least Class 6, although Class 10 is more "future-proof".

Thank You. What is the difference between sdxc and sdhc? I am looking at the sdxc ultra, 64gb (class 4) or the sdhc extreme pro 32gb (which is like $50 more).

Capacity. SD cards run up to 2 GB, SDHC go from 4-32 GB, and SDXC take over from 64 GB on up.

It's just a shame they can't transfer as fast as c/f cards.

If you do go for SDHC or SDXC, make sure your card reader (if you use one) supports these newer/faster cards. I got caught-out with this for my little Panasonic Lumix GF3 and had to buy a new reader!
