I've got a few weeks to keep and try out these two bags. Both measure about the same dimensions as size goes but the Tamrac has lots of usable storage space along with the Lens Bridge system that seems would accommodate the camera body with a 70-200 f/4L attached. While on the other hand with the Lowepro the zoom would have to be removed for transporting. The main issue with the Tamrac is it doesn't come with the detachable snap ring shoulder strap as the Lowepro does.

I use the Nova 4 and am happy with it. I will definately hpld of the gear you have listed as it holds all mine. It is very easy to access while on the shoulder also.

Yea I'm leaning toward keeping the Lowepro. Kinda prefer how everything snuggly fits into place and not quiet as big as the Tamrac. My thinking is if I add the Canon 70-200 f/4L it wouldn't most likely be on the camera unless it was in use anyway. It should fit fine in place of the Sigma 18-125mm.

have you any lenses stuffed under your 18-125 or 28-75? im planning to get the same bag.

i want to be able to fit a
sigma 50mm macro
canon 70-300is or a a 70-200L f4
18-55mm efs
28-135mm is usm attached
camera
grip
420ex flash

i think the bag can do it, can you confirm? i kno wyou dont have these lenses but generally speaking. i have a mini nova right now and dont really want to have to spend on a 3rd bag.

I don't have anything underneath those two lens. Probably about 3" of usable space there. The only thing that might be an issue would be the attached grip on the camera. Juts not too sure about. The Nova 5 AW might be better suited but slightly larger too. The Tamrac 5606 would probably handle it well.

Found @ camerbags.com the 4 AW configured with the 300D and grip so it should work fine:

i think this is the one to get. i wouldnt have the grip on anyways.

grip and flash on the left
18-55 and 50macro on top of each other in one middle slot
70-300 or a 70-200 in the other middle slot
camera with 28-135 attached on the right

looks like it can take that. perfect!
