Just messing with slow shutter speeds / flash.

IMAGE NOT FOUND

Please do not take this as any disrespect as I do not mean it as any sort, but I think it would look great if you get the right Font on there and are able to make it into a girls birthday greeting card. The colors are very nice, keep up the good work

Butterflys are soft things, so a bit less contrast would work better for me, but I like the idea. Keep working it.

Canon XSI w/grip (18-55IS, 55-250IS) & 430EX II. Just now getting back into it! First steps into the DSLR world.:)

Thanks Mr. Kenmuir, PhotosGuy and Pickledmidget, your suggestions taken on board.
@ pickledmidget: The setup is quiet simple. I just set out the butterflies on a bit of black cloth & shot at 1 sec (manual) and used 2nd curtain synch (or rear curtain synch) on the flash & just moved the camera during the exposure. The ambient light made the trails.

how did you keep the light from blowing out the black cloth?
