Well ok not the flash itself, but with the MT 24EX the holder is fairly big and bulky and yet whilst I can position the two flashes in a good arc I often find that the light still ends up not quite filling the underparts of many insects and shots quite as much as I would like. So I've considered adding a white reflector tab to the bottom, but that often gets in the way when shooting (esp when on the ground). So I thought - what if I paint the base of the flash holder itself white to add a kind of built on reflector.
Combine that with some kind of stick on reflector to the base to try and give a bit more volume (since the base section is smaller because of the stand cut) to the reflection surface.
Anyone tried this or something similar?
