Yes a fast lens was most definately needed. Sadly I don't have one of those.... maybe next year :)

I don't use the "save for web" option....I just resize them with the longest size at 800 and try to keep the shortest at 500ish if I crop, 533 if I don't.

Shot using a really old 28-80mm. Non USM. Is a nice lens actually, produces fairly sharp images.

Have hardly used it though.
