I recently finished up a wonderful session with this handsome little man. His mom wanted some portraits before he outgrew his "cute" phase. Like any 4 year old, he just wanted to run around. I don't blame him, but when I saw this spot and the beautiful afternoon light, I just knew I had get a shot here. I asked him to rest his head on the wall, and when he was able to relax and not give me the "cheese" smile, this was the result. The minute I saw it on my lcd, I was thrilled! I still need to get to all the images, but I really wanted to share this one on its own. He has beautiful eyes, and I love how his smile shows off the teeth of a 4 year old! Thanks for looking.

Great picture! Is there a purpose to the black bars on the top and bottom? It makes me feel like I'm watching a movie.

Thank you! I don't often include the black bars on my images, but every now and then, I'll include it to add a little framing. In this case, I thought it complimented his black sweater and the overall color palette. It also represents how it might look as a single image in a flush mount album.

It's gorgeous Tim... beautiful location and I love his expression... You did a great job waiting for the right moment. I'm sure his mom will be so happy with the images! :)
