135L vs 70-200 f/2.8 IS II - Bokeh Comparison

You should have a good idea of whether f2.8 would be good enough in the clubs that YOU shoot.

It's impossible to give a blanket recommendation.

In some dim clubs I have used a Tamron 28-75 with excellent results. In others, only a 24L and 85/1.8 would get the job done. For the small(er) clubs I don't bring the 70-200.

24/85/135 and, maybe the Tamron, if unsure.

The 135 is my least used lens.
