Hello everyone, my first post

Hello everyone,

I have been mooching around here for around three months, when i bought my XT. I have found the forum to be very informative, particularly the faq and stickys. People come across as very friendly and approachable.

Well i want to move on from my status of peeping tom to contributer. Im a Brit and i have lived in Finland for the past 10 years. My photographic experience amounts to three years, but only three months with Dslr.

I have just posted the first shots i am happy with from my XT and you are very welcome to take a look and share your thoughts

I had a look at your gallery and some nice shots there. I see you have a thing for black and white. I would have loved to see some of the color versions.

Man, you're on post 22, why you keep saying it's your first post?
Nice pictures. It's a pity Canon wouldn't make B/W versions of their cameras. Imagine the XT B/W would have then 24Mpixels and a very clean ISO3200.

I had an S500 some time ago which i realised very quickly to be too restrictive. Thanks for your kind comments

Hi Yeleek, The other Gull was hangin around for some time hoping to get lucky with the handsome devil in the foreground i reckon

Hi Peter, I loved your pics. Great observation and capture of light in the harbour shot, and fantastic control in dof in the little sitting cherub.

The number under your name reads post #26 - How come this is your first post then?

Snaperman, These other posts are from an earlier Canon ps. Not dslr

The poster was active briefly in June of 2004. He just started posting again within the last day.
