Thoughts on the HONL 1/4 speed-grid - examples??

Hi all,

I am looking at flash modifiers for my 2 x 580 EXII flashguns.

I need to know whether the HONL 1/4 speed-grids practically work.

I use off-camera flash extensively, I just want to introduce more creative lighting to my shoots without resorting to my big-gun studio flashes...

My setup is very simple:
1 x Flex TT5 on-camera
1 x Flex TT5 on-580 EXII flashgun
1 x 580EXII in 'Slave-mode'

I just place the flashguns in suitable positions around the subjects to get the desired results. I shoot in Manual-Mode (Flash-Setting) at reduced power mostly.

Can anyone Post examples of how they have been successfully used in shoots.
