I want to mount a speedlite on a boom for a hair-light while out on location.

I've been looking around at the various boom manufacturers and am a little bewildered by the choice. I need something reasonably light weight (obviously).

What booms/stands are people using, any recommendations for a suitable UK available product?

Thanks, I have seen this before.

Have you used it?

I'd be interested to know what the build quality is like.

Manfrotto products are usually(always?) very good quality.

The B&H reviewers all seem to like it: http://www.bhphotovideo.com …Stand.html#costumerReview (external link)

Oh brilliant, I didn't think of reading customer reviews from a USA supplier.

This looks like just what I need. Thank you for your help.

Manfrotto has arrived. Very nice piece of kit. Thanks again for the recommendation.
