Any suggestions on how to actually do this? Our new kitten's name should be Dash. He is all over the place. It seems by the time he does calm down I never have the camera ready.

I also set the cat's bed on our bed during the day. I setup the camera with proper exposure and flash mounted and left it nearby. I like to bounce a flash off the ceiling. If I use the on-camera flash, it is used as fill-light only. I use manual exposure, set the exposure for the existing light and set flash exposure compensation to -1 stop. 50D, 450D, 18-55mm IS, 30mm f/1.4, 60mm f2.8 macro, 100mm f2,
