Who has never shot a JPG with their DSLR?

I just skimmed through the "No more Raw for me" thread, and it dawned on me that I've never shot a JPG file with any DSLR that I've owned. I got my first camera, a 40D in 2009, and since then have owned another 40D, 20D, 5D, and 5D2, and I'm pretty sure I've never shot a single in-camera JPG.

Anybody else?

I'm actually curious now what the JPG files from my 5D2 would even look like.

I accidentally shot a couple with my 5D after I first bought it. Seller performed a full reset of settings, default is JPEG.

I haven't shot JPG since I got Lightroom. Couldn't do T2i RAW with CS3. But JPG never stopped me from getting good shots ... even have some of them hanging on my wall. So ... whatever.

Like I mentioned in that thread, I've shot jpegs a few times, once even accidentally!

when testing camera once it arrives, with default configs just to see its basically ok.

The only time I shoot JPEGs is when I do star trails. I set the cam to 30 sec exposure and continuous shooting, lock the shutter and let it rip until the battery is depleted. Other than that, I have never once shot a JPEG with any of my DSLRs.

I shot jpgs when my wife and I went on our honeymoon... There, it was more about the trip than the photography... It was much easier to come home and load up the jpgs instead of going through 1500 raw files...

I shoot jpeg when needing images for Craigslist and eBay postings. Also, jpeg to check whether i succesfully clean all the dust bunnies on the censor.

The only time I've ever shot to jpeg was when my experience with cameras was roughly equivalent to the experience those apes had with the monolith in that scene from 2001:ASO.

I shot jpeg when I 1st got my camera for almost a month before starting to mess around with raw. But once I shot raw,I never went back.

I shoot jpeg a in a lot of situations...wedding receptions, events, parties.

I think the only time I set either my 7D or 40D to make JPEGs is when I'm cleaning the sensor (so I can load the image into PS faster).

OTOH, I do cheat and create "proofs" albums by extracting the embedded JPEG from the raw files with dcraw all the time (ex. http://moving-target-photos.com …TimelessFarm/Au​g28Proofs/)
