Help Me Pick A Sling/Messenger Bag

Hey guys,

With Christmas coming up I am looking for some photography items. I currently have some batteries and a grip for my T2i with a kit lens. I think I am going to get the new YN flash, a bag, and the 55-250 lens. I REALLY want a 70-200 but even the f/4 non-IS is steep for me. Considering the Sigma but I think the 55-250 may hold me over. Anyway!

I have a tiny little case for my camera now but it will only hold my camera with either the grip or the lens attached, not both. Considering that I would like to have a telephoto (70-200), 50 prime, flash, and 17-50 someday I want a case that can grow with me but not too big.

My photo editor at the newspaper let me borrow his case that goes over one shoulder with a flap recently which I somewhat liked. I like that it gives easy access to swap lenses/etc. but it was a little bulky/uncomfortable.

I looked around at what I could find online but wasn't having luck, especially finding a bag that would hold a gripped DSLR.

I know you get threads like this a lot but I honestly did search and wasn't having luck.

Cheaper is better, as well. Under $100 would be great.

Thank you!

Nice! That looks almost perfect :) Think it would fit a gripped body with a lens attached?

I've been looking for a messenger style bag and that one looks nice. I might have to pick that up. Right now the only one I really thought about was the Crumpler 6mdh or 7mdh. I have a Kata 210 which is great but sometimes I want a messenger style one.

Look into the stealth bag

https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1010634

Not sure how it will work with a gripped body but I know it will hold a ton of gear. Mine holds a t1i with sigma 17-70 attached/hood reversed, 70-200f4 IS/hood reversed, Rokinon 8mm fisheye, 50mm f1.8 (or 2x TC depending on which I need), two extension tubes, YN465 flash, small accessory bag (with 3battries, micro fibers, lens pen, and cable release), memory card holder, CP filter, step down rings, rain cover, manuals, and even a rocket blower (I even have room fr my ND filters and holder when needed)
