Gents,

I Hope I can ask this in here, as thats where all the motorsports guys hang out.

I have a 400D, which is my first camera body, its second hand and has been great for learning, but I have a hankering for more.

Was looking at a 7D but its just a little too much money. Is there anyone using a 60D and are you getting good results?

Cheers

Aidan

The 60D has worked extremely well in all applications, including motorsports. There are no shortcomings, no problems, no quirks, just good pictures. The camera did not "get in the way" of these images, or many others. However, its price did leave additional money in the purchaser's pocket.

Remember, the biggest upgrade you can make is the squishy thing behind the viewfinder. Get what you can get and get back to taking photos. Think about the pros who took amazing photos with 1-2 megapixel cameras when digital cameras first came around. If anything, put your money into glass. Glass will last you much longer than a camera body.
