Hello all, I've been lurking in the forum for a couple of weeks now. I got a new 50mm 1.8 the other day. This lens is awesome! I've never had a lens with this f-stop. Man is it nice for depth. Anyway, I took a few quick shots of one of my dogs. I was checking out the depth and clarity, man it's awesome. I'd appreciate it if you guys could give me some pointers on composition and if they're clear, etc. etc. I know the first one has the focus on his nose instead of his eyes, I liked the photo other than that. The second is his beautiful eyes. Thanks. This is Neo.

Love the second one. One of my favorite types of dog shots -- as evidenced by my avatar. Dogs have such expression in their eyes.
