Just got a Tokina 11-16 and wondering which lens profile others are using to correct for this lens in LR. Or is there a lens profile for this lens specifically available somewhere?
Thanks.

If you build a profile using the Lens Profile Creator tool, there is the option in the software to send the profile to the server, thereby sharing it with the community (entirely optional, of course). On the other side, users can use the LC plug-in in CS5 to search online (via this server) for such profiles contributed by other users. The idea is that if you have a lens for which Adobe has not provided a profile, there is an opportunity to check if somebody else has already built a profile for that lens and shared it. I've got it in the appropriate folder on the Mac but it's not showing up to use in LR3.

Everything I've seen on the Web says to install it via CS5, which I don't have. So I've tried everything I can think of. Someone said I have to import it into LR but I have no idea how as there is nowhere I can see to have it import a lens profile.

Also, what type of file are you trying to correct? Raw of rendered? Profiles designed for Raw files will not work with rendered files and vice versa. So if the profile were for a Raw file and you are trying to correct a JPEG the profile will not be accessible in Lightroom. This one is for RAW files. I only shot RAW so it shouldn't be a problem for me.

Thanks. I hadn't seen the downloader. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to allow you to actually bring in a profile. It has to find it online (I'm guessing on the Adobe site).
