I've done some recent work updating the look and feel of my website. I'm looking for some feedback on the latest version.

Well it is different. I feel the big huge text on the home page is rather offensive to my eyes, it is not inviting. Will every visitor know you have to move the mouse over each word?

You call yourself 3 guys, but you only have info about 2 guys on the "about" page.

Thanks for taking the time to look through my site. I know the portfolio mouse over section won't be for everyone. I just wanted something visual for the links instead of the usual styles.

We are really two guys with a third that consults and does work for us sometimes. I still need to add a picture and bio for him.

Thanks for the feedback!

I agree its different. The size of everything makes me have to scroll more than I want to. And is it a new thing, or a Wordpress thing, to load the BLOG with photo galleries. If seen that a lot on here, when folks are asking for review of their site. I'd go to your Portfolio to see you work and bypass the Blog completely.

Thanks for checking out my site.

I post pictures to the blog and repost the blog post to facebook. It is just another way to get our work out there. Plus, I can give a client a direct link to their blog post and their friends can go see a sample of their pictures without having to dig through our portfolio (the pictures may not even been in the portfolio at that point).

Thanks for the feedback!

I was thinking the same thing about the text, its way to "up front", almost lite shoving a paper in the face of the user.

I like the idea of 'something visual for the links', but have you considered reversing it? Starting with the images, and upon rollover show the text (or a smaller version of the text). I think visitors expect to see images right away on a photography site vs just text. I like the gallery pages once you get into the site.

I like it. I like that it is something different than you normally see. I kind of agree with the above posters and think maybe a good compromise would be to show the picture very transparent behind the text blocks and then full on when you hover. I also think you should use a different picture for the first seniors block. The current picture looks like a 12 year old girl.

This is a valid point. I just think the grid with all the pictures showing would be overload, but I'll have to think about it some more. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks. I don't really have time to make changes to it now, but I'll consider your idea when I do. I'll be updating the pictures every now and then so the Seniors one will probably change soon. Thanks for the feedback.

I appreciate all the input...keep it coming.
