I discovered (rediscovered?) how important it is to take a shot like this when the sky is still a little bright. Alas, if I were limited to a single shot a day I'd go crazy...
1x6 pano, about 35 megapixels after cropping.

Unfortunately the 800 pixel limit restricts seeing the detail of the stitched image. I don't understand your comment about the sky, it is too bright or not enough for this pano. Thanks for posting. It shows off your accomplishment much better. I'm sure a lareger one would be even better. Thanks for the repost. I'm seriously debating about getting this one printed, but part of me wants the sky a bit brighter so I may just have to go back. Hmmm.... Knowing me I'll never be happy if I print this so I guess I'll have to do it again. Harumph. You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
