I discovered (rediscovered?) how important it is to take a shot like this when the sky is still a little bright. Alas, if I were limited to a single shot a day I'd go crazy...

1x6 pano, about 35 megapixels after cropping.

Very nice picture. Unfortunately the 800 pixel limit restricts seeing the detail of the stitched image. I don't understand your comment about the sky, it is too bright or not enough for this pano. Thanks for posting.

Reposted a bit wider - it's still only 63K at 1000 wide...

Glad you folks like the limerick. :-)

The larger image is a tremendous improvement. It shows off your accomplishment much better. I'm sure a lareger one would be even better. Thanks for the repost.

A very tidy shot indeed Scottes!! I really like the variety of colour from the various light sources (especially on the bridge supports).

Thanks for the comments folks! I'm seriously debating about getting this one printed, but part of me wants the sky a bit brighter so I may just have to go back. Hmmm.... Knowing me I'll never be happy if I print this so I guess I'll have to do it again. Harumph.

Great shot Scott. I would be happy printing this and hanging it on my walls but I do understand when you are wanting a certain look you work until you get it. Again nice job.

well done - doing panos at night is more difficult than day shots for sure.
IMO - I think the sky is perfect.
cheers
