hi. glad to found this forum. got a g2. i m trying to use a flash with it, canon 300ez af. seem sto change the f stops? with the lens movement. pictures are all white???????any ideas what im doing wrong.......??????

also, using optional remote.....got new battery......dont seems to work? any advicce appreciated

Canon PowerShot G-series cameras are fully compatible only with Canon EX-series flashes. Other flashes will work only in manual mode or will not work at all :(
Try to set camera in M mode, set shutter speed 1/125s or 1/60s and calculate aperture according to flash guide number.
Remote has narrow beam and short range. Camera must be in self-timer drive mode for operating with it.
