So after many years of use without a hitch, my 70-200 f/4 IS unexpectedly rolled off a table about 3 feet off the floor, landed on it's hood (luckily), bounced off to the side and ended up without so much as a scratch. Yay!

Well, no all's not ok as now there is a rattling sound coming from the lens if I shake it, and it gives me a triple beep when I mount it to the camera, so there is most certainly a problem with either the focusing or IS assembly as the sound is coming from the rear of the lens.
Time to send it in for repairs. Drats. Probably the first piece of hardware I've ever owned fail on me.
