That is a great shot.
Is that one image or a few stitched together?

This is a real winner... you're going to make money from it. It has a slightly unusual look to it.. almost as if it were drawn & painted for a movie backdrop. It's so very cool & unique looking, I think a lot has to do with that awesome sky/water colour. I'd hang it on my wall in a minute..

Super work!

Well done, I'll be in Bedford week after next and will try to do the same.

Cheers,

Lynn

Very nice! A town awakens... It's perhaps not quite so dramatic as a full-on night shot, but you can almost feel your body want to yawn and stretch as dawn approaches. It has a very mellow feel to it. It's a bit different, and I like it a lot. :)

Terrific pano. I like the bluish grey cast. When I first looked at the picture I thought it was tilted, but it was the optical illusion created by only one side of the buildings having reflected light. Thanks for posting it a little bigger, you get to see the detail that is there.

Thanks for the comments folks!

Zepher, this was a 1x5 pano in portrait mode. I think it ended up at 22 or 24 megapixels.

Merlin, Bedford is 1 town away from where I work. If you're interested let me know what you're looking for and I can give you some nice shooting locations - especially if you wish to get some skyline shots.

Scotte,

You efforts were certainly rewarded. Sleep is overrated sometimes. I'm glad you got up early and made this image come to life. Thanks for the great shot.

Cool shot. What did you do to the sky and water, if anything? They are such an even shade of blue. btw, where are you located? I am south of Boston. :)
