With the combination of a Canon 60D and a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, there was plenty of light available to generate these images without a flash.

The track is one of the few dirt ovals where you can place yourself on the outside of the turns without being pelted with mud, so the outside location was the first place to take pictures. Then, the second location was inside of the third turn, where the riders start to put their inside foot down and crank the motorcycles sideways. Those two locations are the places where the most dynamic images can be found.

Did they have 2 classes or did they run them together? If so that would be interesting to watch since speedway bikes have no brakes.
