My son graduated HS last year, so I sold off the 7D and long lenses thinking I wouldn't be shooting HS sports (football or basketball) anymore. Got a call from a mom who has no real shots of her son playing. Tried to explain that my gear probably wasn't suited for the task, but she insisted and hired me.
All football shots 5D2 and a 135L with ambient light. Guess ya get what you can!

Delivering around 50 shots to the mom today. I think she'll be happy even though these aren't ESPN or SI quality. Again, ya get what you can with the gear at hand.
