This Noisy Miner was on a lower branch protecting her nest and the Lorikeets were intent on sitting above and baiting her

They just sat there looking down and watching the Miner watching them, it was quite interesting to witness

interesting interaction between those birds. I have quite a few birds flit about in my yard, but they seem to ignore each other.

Thanks Tina, the usually do here as well but the Miner was being very protective of the nest. The silly thing was the nest was quite low, normally they go higher

Thanks Bret, praise from someone I look up to is greatly appreciated. The flash tends to highlight there colours quite a bit, but I do very minimal PP with saturation and white balance as I am a bit colourblind, so they may be a brighter than reality. They are a very bright bird though, the striking colours always fascinate me.
