Great images but check your horizons, some seem a little off.

I saw that and was surprised. Thought I had it lined up. I have a pretty basic photo editor so it won't be able to "straighten" out the image.

No problem at all, believe me. I'm pretty new to digital photography and just got this camera a couple of weeks ago, so any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Having a good photo manipulation software package is important, there are a few excellent packages that are available but obviously your budget will determine which one you go for. Photoshop Elements would be a good start.

With Photo-shop, to judge your horizon you can simply drag a line down or from the side rulers.

Couple of examples:

I use these guides to level up if the horizon is maybe a hill side with buildings using the architecture to level up things a little:

and the horizontal lines for level the horizon in a landscape or with buildings etc.

You can also use both to 'square' things up.

Quick and easy fix to those images that can look a little 'wonky' :)
