Wide vs tele for street pics?

Hi. Which lens do u feel produce better street pics based on my style and work? Some say i shoot better wide. what do you guys reckon?

you had some greats in both tele and wide
ie I like Tele 1 & 2 and like wide 3 & 4 but then again it all depends on your location and situation.

if the person or people are near you then wide would be more handy, beside tele 2-5 could have been obtained with a wide lens if you were closer to them.

I like the wide shots more. But I really like all of these photos. Do people mind you taking photographs of them, or is it more of a candid thing? I've been meaning to walk around the city just shooting.
